CAPITAL – Bulgaria will become a net importer of electricity from a net exporter in all scenarios for fast or gradual phase out of coal-fired thermal power plants, a report by Bulgarian Center for the Study of Democracy, the Technical University of Vienna and Hungary’s Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research showed.
— Expressbank successfully merged with DSK Bank, owned by Hungary OTP Group as planned. DSK Bank finalised a deal to buy Expressbank from Societe Generale in early 2019. The merger will probably make DSK Bank Bulgaria’s biggest lender in terms of assets. (Capital, 24 Chasa)
